Our History

Founded in 2018, Jitolee Voluntary Service is a grassroots organization based in Kariobangi, Nairobi, dedicated to empowering vulnerable youth through practical vocational skills. Our programs provide young people with the tools, training, and opportunities they need to build sustainable livelihoods.

Impact

Over 500 Youth Trained – Graduates in trades such as tailoring, carpentry, welding, mechanics, panel beating, and hairdressing, now earning sustainable incomes.

Community Outreach – Reached over 500 people directly and 10,000 people indirectly.

Crime Reduction – Contributed to a noticeable drop in youth-related crime in Kariobangi and environs through skills training and empowerment.

Women Empowerment – Equipped young women with vocational skills,marketable skills- enabling them to achieve financial independence.

Partnerships & Recognition – Built strong collaborations with local leaders, businesses, and community groups, earning recognition for grassroots impact.
